Its officially December 24, 2010 at the Southeaster part of the world. We only have a few hours before celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ our savior (according to the Christian faith). Christmas is one of the happiest holiday seasons ever. People give gifts to their loved ones to show their love and appreciation to each other. People prepare grand feasts for their family to enjoy together. People go to church to pray for one another.
But before everything, when the cold winter breeze comes on the early -ber month of the year, people starts decorating their house with Christmas trees and Christmas decorations to approach the upcoming holiday season. As for my mom, she started decorating at the first day of December. She had unusual plans for this season. Unlike, the past Christmas seasons, our decorations were always the traditional colors –red and green. This season, her color motif was blue, hence the picture of the Christmas tree above as you can see , is blue. WE HAVE BLUE CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR!
At first it was weird because its not tradition, but then later on, I realized, the soft lights were relaxing to watch. It feels more like a cold Christmas.. and it is! (thanks to the rain!)
Well, anyway, I’m looking forward to Christmas. Its almost here! We can touch it with our fingertips!
MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! and have a blast upcoming new year! c:
