Holy Week — traditionally, its a week spent going to different churches to pray and to walk the stations of the cross, to reflect about life. This year, we’re doing it differently. There will be no Visita Iglesia, no walking the stations of the cross, etc. But that doesn’t mean we love God less. We just want to do something different.
We started the week by traveling to Cagayan de Oro City. Its a long 7-hour drive. Between the 7-hour trip, we stopped by Seagull Resort to eat brunch. It was really cold.
Me and mom had club house sandwiches, Dad had Pork Chop Steak and Klyde had Beef Tapa. The sandwich was good. So after a good brunch, we went on and headed for Cagayan. I slept the whole trip. We arrived at around 8 in the evening. We picked Kim up at the court where she was training and we went to eat dinner at Siam at Rosario Strip in Limkitkai Center.
We ordered a lot, as usual. Siam is Cagayan’s version of Davao’s Krua Thai, a famous Thai restaurant. The spicyness of Thai food is what makes it really delicious.
After dinner, we brought back Kim to where she was staying and we went straight to Tito Jer’s house where we stayed for a few days.
